Hello guys back again with me so today we gonna talk descriptive text about recreation place. I wanna tell you abot a beautiful stunning incredible one of famous island in Indonesia. Yes, Sumba Island

Sumba is one part of East Nusa Tenggara province which location is only one hour flight to the east of Bali. The remnant of megalith era can still be seen in this land, and the primitive culture afterward that still put into practice by its followers make West Sumba one of the most culturally interesting place to visit in east Indonesia.

Sumba and its people are very rich in cultural heritage from the ancient time. Sumba is also blessed with lots of fantastic panorama like hills and valleys, waterfalls, gorgeous deserted white sand beaches and tropical forest with rare kind of birds that can only be found in Sumba. Sumba regency consist of 6 districts i.g. Kota Waikabubak, Lamboya, West Lamboya, and Tana Righu.The island is also known for the precious art of Tenun Ikat handwoven fabric, and the origin of the strong and agile Sumba Ponies or Sandalwood Horses.

This island located between the islands of Komodo and Sumbawa, and directly facing the Indian Ocean the island is also a surfers' paradise. Surprisingly Sumba has a number of luxurious resorts. The Nihiwatu Resort, for example, has been recognized as 2nd best hotel worldwide by Tripadvisor. 

The western part of Sumba can be seen traditional villages, stone megalithic tombs even around West Sumba's capital of Waikabubak, and watch unique rituals and traditions following the ancient Marapu belief. Waingapu, Kwangu, and Labanapu are traditional village. All three are, famous for their exquisite ikat weaving. Women of Sumba produce some exemplary hand woven cloth with many motifs. Here visitors can watch the entire intricate and tedious process of ikat weaving.
